The Challenge

SAGE Veterinary Centers’ (SAGE) continuous expansion led to the need to build brand consistency for a harmonious public image and a communication strategy to generate brand awareness, promote SAGE’s services and create top-of-mind recall as the preferred vet hospital. SAGE partnered with Sagent for our aligned values and passion to positively impact people’s lives, and their pets.

Our SAGE Approach

Sagent outlined and executed an integrated media relations strategy that included:

  • Building and engaging media relations
  • Researching and maintaining a monthly editorial calendar
  • Identifying and developing key media messages
  • Drafting press releases and pitching for opportunities to feature SAGE
  • Facilitating and coaching SAGE personnel for media interviews with talking points
  • Drafting articles for SAGE blogs, notice and other social media posts
  • Continuous tracking and monitoring

  • Secured media interviews and press coverage for SAGE on prominent publications and media outlets.
  • Coached a media-ready leadership team and vet professionals to take on media interviews within a short turnaround time in person, and via Zoom.
  • Developed an integrated marketing action plan and brand rollout strategy with consistent messaging to increase brand awareness of the newly acquired SAGE San Francisco.
